Whether you’re a seasoned performer or stepping onto a stage for the first time, here’s what you can expect.

What Makes Blue Springs Got Talent Different? Blue Springs Got Talent is more than a competition. It’s a community celebration that highlights local performers and allows finalists to perform at Blue Springs Fall Fun Fest.
Do I Need Professional Experience? No. Whether you’ve been performing for years or are stepping on stage for the first time, you’re welcome to participate.
I’m Nervous. Should I Still Audition? Absolutely. The goal of Blue Springs Got Talent is to encourage and celebrate local talent. You don’t need to be perfect to participate.
What If My Talent Is Unusual? We love seeing creativity. If you’re not sure whether your act is a good fit, contact us and we’ll be happy to help.

How Should I Prepare? Practice your performance, make sure any music or materials are ready to go, and focus on having fun while sharing your talent. For each performance there is a 5 minute limit.
What Should I Bring? Bring anything needed for your performance, such as instruments, props, costumes, or accompaniment tracks.
How Early Should I Arrive? Plan to arrive a little early to allow time for check-in and preparation.
Can Someone Come Support Me? Yes. We encourage performers to bring family and friends when audience accommodations allow.

What Are Judges Looking For? Judges want to see performers who are prepared, engaging, and confident in sharing their talents with the audience.
Will I Meet Other Performers? Definitely. One of the best parts of the event is connecting with other talented members of the community.
What Happens Between Auditions and the Finals? Selected finalists will receive additional event information, performance details, and next steps from the event team.
What Is It Like Performing at Fall Fun Fest? Finalists will perform from 4 pm to 4:45 pm on September 19 as part of one of Blue Springs’ signature community events, sharing the stage with a large audience of friends, families, and community members.

Can I Take Photos and Videos? We encourage participants and families to capture memories while being respectful of performers and event operations.
Will Food and Activities Be Available? Fall Fun Fest offers a variety of activities, entertainment, and attractions for attendees to enjoy throughout the event.

Who Organizes Blue Springs Got Talent? Blue Springs Got Talent is presented through a partnership between local community organizations, Blue Springs City Theatre, and other volunteers dedicated to celebrating arts, entertainment, and our community.
